Vacuum Cold Trap

Dry ice / isopropanol cold trap. Provides pre-pump protection by condensing vapors. Vapors contact outside stainless steel shell, traps up to 1.5 liters condensate. Large, removable center well accommodates up to 2.8 liters of dry ice or an IPA slurry for up to 12 hours protection depending upon vapor load. Takes 7/16" I.D tubing.

To use - fill the internal stainless-steel reservoir with a cold slurry mix of ice / alcohol / dry ice and set inside the larger steel vessel. The cold surface of the trap attracts and condenses material that would otherwise be ingested by the vacuum pump.
